Hooray For Good Police Officers!!!!

I drove almost 4 and a half hours yesterday to get my son and, as expected, he wasn't there. I called the county police department and talked to the greatest police officer ever!!!!!! Unfortunately he could not enforce our court order however I was on the phone with him for about 20 minutes, maybe more, explaining my situation to him. He was very sympathetic to my situation and very encouraging. He told me I was doing the right thing by filing a report with him and said that he feels that my sons father is using my son as a tool to control me, which we already knew but it still felt good to have someone else see what I see. He said I'm doing exactly what I should be doing following the court order, and his father is finally showing the world who he really is. Hooray!!!! I hate that I can't see my son right now but I know that unfortunately this is exactly what it's going to take to show everyone else in the legal department that he is not the saint he seems to be. The sad thing is that I know how much he's hurting my little boy right now and god only knows what kind of sh*t he's pumping into my sons head through all of this. I'm going to call my son today, and I'm sure that if I get to talk to him I'll know more about what he's doing to him. I'll write more later.
